Hi guys, Just got a macbook and wondering how you guys protect them, skins, cases etc. I was looking at a hard case but after using one on my iPad and it scratching it I'm not so keen.

From what I read when buying my rmbp is that hard shell cases can scratch and will also affect heat from leaving the computer.
So with that in mind, I went for a soft case by Herschel, can't remember what it's called..
It fits perfectly and offers decent protection. I carry mine to and from uni/work on a daily bases and I've yet to get a scratch or ding. I picked mine up from the Apple Store when I got it, think it was like 25-30£ at the time

A durable / tough silicon case would be nice. Like the HardCandy iPad cases, with ridges on the back. The texture is a bit like a car tyre.

I bought an Incase ICON from the apple store in the end and its really good. Has a magnetic flap and a nice rubber edging. the only bit i didn't like was the price, Didn't realise how much it cost until I got home as there was no price on it and I bought a few other things at the same time. Has anyone got a skin on there Macbook?
