I'm using a mid 2012 Macbook Pro, i7 with 16GB ram.
About a week ago I turned it on in the morning and got the following:
After about 15 minutes it went away. Now however, whenever I turn it on I get a nice blank grey picture.
I can plug it into an external display and that works fine, but again after about 15 minutes the picture comes back.
It does this even on the boot menu before OSX loads, so I'm pretty sure it's not software related.
Any ideas? Could it be cold boot related?
