Hey guys, so earlier to day about 2-3 hours i got a macbook pro from a certain 'computer world' shop on a 6 months interest free finance for £999. However after using it im starting to think the macbook air (also £999) would be much better fit for me, is it possible to do an exchange?

Thanks guys, hope its possible !!

As the others have said, you should ask them, however, why would they swap it for you?

EDIT: Missed the 2-3 hours ago part. Apologies.

I dont think your going to have any luck with them not if its who i think it is.

i tried to swap a monitor which i had at home for less then 1 hour and they basically said unless its faulty no.

if its who I think it is I don't think you can, year back I bought a hp laptop and wanted to return it and upgrade to a better speed dell they said I couldn't as it wasn't faulty. The guy changed it in the end when he say that the dell laptop I wanted would cost an extra £300. But he said they normally wouldnt do this.

Again, ring them. If you haven't actually used it and its still sealed in the box then you should be able to return it however your main quarrel may lie with the finance company but again, I think you have a 14 day period with them but im not to sure if that is before or after signing with them, depending on the lender.

I would actually phone finance 1st then the shop because the shops hand will be tied as they cant make a decision on the lenders behalf. You may be charged from the lender too.

EDIT: What were you thinking. The best thing about 'the shop', is that you can try before. #Annoying customer

Says you can return even if you have opened but id say it doesn't stretch towards being switched on which you haven't done. I cant advise on the finance companies perspective though where i think you will have trouble!!!
