Macbook Pro temperatures?

I've got a 2 year old MBP which seems to be running a bit hot - 67 idle and 80 degrees at full CPU. Both fans are reported at maximum (6000rpm) but I don't remember it being this hot before recently.

The left fan had been noisier than usual and holding the laptop to my ear I can hear a fan on the right, but not much noise on the left.

To other MBP owners...do these temps seem a bit high, and can you hear a fan on the left?

The DVD drive is also broken (ate a DVD, won't give it back and DVD drive gone from Finder now), so it's going back to Apple anyway soon

Knew I should've got the extended warrenty for £90 but totally forgot

Dust in the fans?

Probably the cause.

I have noticed my temps slowly rising, used to never pass 70C load @ 6000RPM but now 80C is possible, even if room temps are the same.

Probably, but then I can't see a way to open the thing up and clean it. Back to Apple it goes

Hoover mate.

tap up the top and the bottom of the circle of the hoover to create a nice seal and then just move it along the vents at the back a few times.

I've done it and all is good!
