I'm looking to see if anyone can recommend me a third party repair company who could service and check over at a 13" MacBook Pro (Early 2015)?
It requires a battery service but over Christmas it had an unfortunate run in with a small glass of water. It got wet but I don't think any water made it inside the system.

The main problem is the MacBook Pro is giving a red light on the MagSafe charger when connected to mains power. It won't stay on unless it's connected to mains power and the battery is saying it's at 100% charge.

I've troubleshooting of making sure both the MagSafe cable and socket are clean and debris free and resetting the SMC without any success.
I'm based in Edinburgh but would happily sent the MacBook else where if there is a good third party company else where within the UK?

Just want to get it fixed and checked over before selling it.

Any advice or recommendations would be great.

Looking at what they sell for unlikely you will cover the costs of paying someone to replace the battery/check it over. Battery doesn't too bad to change, if you are unable to may be better to sell with the faults listed.

That’s what I was wondering myself before I posted.

I was considering using the ifixit store and guides to replace the battery myself but the last thing I want to do is spend the money on a battery only to be left with it still not charging due possible damage from the water.
