Hi ive had the new 2011 Macbook pro since the 4th march its been fine since last night the internet was really slow.

I've checked my main pc and speeds are fine and the same on my netbook.
It just seems to be a problem with the mac.

Its my first mac so i don't know if this is a known problem with them.

Is it normal? Do i need to adjust some settings?

Luke

Both devices were located in the same place running from the same wireless connection.

Why is the mac so much slower?

It takes on average about 15 second to load google on the mac were as the netbook running windows 7 starter loads it instantly.

*No other programs were running on both machines just Firefox*

Try Network Preferences, Advanced, TCP/IP, Renew DHCP Lease.
