OK, so I am a week in with the new MBP. So far, OK. Though I haven't as yet fallen in love with OSx as many predicted, and am spending far more time, as I expected in my windows boot camp.
My question is about windows drivers. The drivers that came seem no more than adequate. I say that because, for instance, on my wifi - if I am in OSx I get about another 10 meters down the garden before the connection dropped compared with windows. It's the same hardware, so I am guessing it must just be drivers? More worryingly I have had two absolute windows freezes (whilst doing nowt more complicated than surfing in chrome).
I see in other forums people bitch about the included drivers (including the graphics card ones) and suggest these may be the root cause of windows freezes but nobody puts up a handy link to the most optimised set. Anyone, know of one or have any other suggestions?
Incidentally, I got a bit carried away and ended up with the 2.3 Ghz 15 inch model with 8gig of Ram and the anti-glare screen. Went over my 1500 budget by over 500 quid! This bugger had better last.
