Hi all
I am considering getting the MacBook Pro, the 2.7ghz i7 16gb ram and nvidia gt 650m, I know that Mac OSX isn't exactly the best os for gaming, but if I use bootcamp will it just be like a high spec pc? Or does bootcamp make it run on intel hd or something like that? I just want to play Tiberium wars, fallout, minecraft and gmod so will it work?

I recently got a pro matching that spec, Win 8 bootcamped does a decent job of gaming :) I've not tried anything very recent but GTA IV and Saints Row 3 work very well at least.

You will actually find that Windows will force it to run on the 650M only rather than the HD4000, battery life really suffers in Windows due to this but if you are gaming then you will likely be on the AC anyway.

Will work just like any other windows machine with the same spec once in bootcamp

You won't have any issues with those games, I've got the early 2011 model and I can run BF3, albeit on low settings on that. Spec is 2.2GHz i7, 8GB RAM and a 1GB 6750.

Thanks a lot guys! I will be on ac most of the time, it will be for caravan and holidays so I will have power, glad it forces it on the gt650 not the hd4000 as I hate intel hd
