Got a quick question... the guy told me in the apple store that i get a remote with it but i didnt find one in the box... should there be one in the box? or did he not know what hes talking about?

He's living in the past.

The remote is an optional extra on MacBook and MacBook Pros now, it used to come with it.

Enjoy, by the way. :)

You need to use iChat to use that feature.

and another question i got is lol is there a way to configure the right mouse button so its actually a right click on the macbook pro?

thanks

System Preferences -> Keyboard & Mouse -> Trackpad

Tick the third last option.

If you are using an actual mouse instead of the trackpad, click the Mouse tab instead of the Trackpad tab and change accordingly.

thanks for the reply ok ive ticked secondary click in the mouse options but i have to tap the trackpad with to fingers is there any way to just simply click the right but on the trackpad? like a normal windows laptop?

I think I have right click set as command + click and that works pretty well. Having a normal mouse is deffo the way forward though.

No you don't.

In Leopard it has a feature called screen sharing, go to sharing options in system preferences and turn it on. To connect open a finder window and when your brothers machine appears in the shared area of the side bar click and above the list of folders you get the option for share screen.

Also you can do it from Screen Sharing.app (Mine is in Applications, but I am pretty certain it was hidden elsewhere in the system and I moved it).
