Hi guys, for a Uni course I'm looking to get a Macbook pro. I'm just wondering, what should i be looking for and what should I avoid? Some of them only boost 256mb of graphics RAM, some of 9600m gt's, some have 8600m gt's. Which way should i lean?

It's a multimedia course, so I'm going to be using the Adobe suites, some animation programs and doing a bit of word processing. It's not really a games machine as I have a computer (in sig). However, capability for games (when in doubt) would be appreciated

roger. One more question :)
What is the idle memory consumption of the Mac OS like? I've only ever used Vista which is a RAM hog, is it worth getting 4 gigs instead of 2?

Yeah, I was seriously tempted by the top 15 inch one, but I'm not sure if my funds can stretch that far. Even with the Uni discount I get it's still about 1,450 quid, and that's an awful lot of weeks without food. Is the top end 15 inch that much faster than the bottom end one?
