Macbook Problem?

Hello All

Im currently having issues with my macbook and my Linksys WRT54GL

I have had the router for quite a while and never experienced any problems but when i try and connect my new macbook wirelessly it cannot even see the router.

It can see other networks nearby, and my GF windows lappy can connect to the wireless router without a problem. Also i can connect to internet etc fine through ethernet with the macbook.

I have third party firmware on the linksys (dd-wrt)


Has anybody experienced the same problem or have any ideas on how i can get things working. I must say my knowledge on networking and all things wireless is pretty thin, you could probably say the same about my macbook knowledge

well it appears i have fixed my own problem. I tried a number of things and not sure if it was a combination of these but the final thing was changing the wireless channel from auto to 1.
