Macbook Rejecting Discs Problem

As title, i put a disc into my macbook drive, it spins it and spits it back out

Anyone had a similar issue? Any ideas on how to fix it, v. annoying as i cannot get any documents etc. off any discs/ watch dvds etc.

It just means it can't read the disc correclty... if its doing it on all discs its a faulty drive.

I heard a lot of people having trouble like this with the SuperDrives, so if your Macbook has one, chances are it is that.

Yea.. the matshita drives that mac uses are rublish, I given up burning dvd-r on mine as it never burns correclty

There were some hardware problems with Macs spitting out discs back when the MacBooks first came out (and longer), but it should be covered under a warranty so take it to a Mac store and get it sorted

As for Macs inherently not being able to burn discs; that's a large oversight.. use the right software, or burn slower (anything else, and you need it checked out).

Doh i have one of those said drives Whats the best way forward? An external drive?

Chuffing £750 and they can't even afford to put a half decent drive in the dam thing, time to find out if i've got applecare!

It's a disguised swear

Same thing as using the actual word in the mod's eyes.
