Started to get problems when trying to use my MacBook after it's been sleeping.

I flick up the screen and nothing happens, you can hear the sound it makes when the hard drive starts up but the screen stays off. Nothing happens if you press any keys and the only thing to do is turn it off. When you turn it on again the same thing will happen, or it will start beeping....Can be 5-10 mins before it'll eventually load up.

Also something unrelated, the macs graphic output > dvi connector never seems to work for me, I connect it, shut my MacBook so the image displays on the screen, but then the remote is unresponsive....Or it will just flicker off on the tele like i've pulled the plug out. I think since buying my MB in November last year, i've been able to use front row on my tele twice.

It's a 2.2 ghz intel core 2 duo, 4GB RAM running 10.5.3

Went to turn it on this morning and got the beeping again. 3 beeps then a pause for a second. Must have restarted around 20 times, it refused to boot and the only way I could get it running was to remove the battery. It's fully charged though.

OK, it's doing it every time I turn the MB on now, 3 beeps with the sleep light flashing, over and over again. Tried it with the battery in, out, power cable in and out and it's the same each time.

The last time it was running, it froze up and the screen was a mixture of colours then it just turned itself off.

Sounds like the graphics has gone strange.

Have you got the original Mac OS X CD? Try re-installing off of that.

If not then take it to an Apple store or give them a ring and see what they say.
