macbook temps

Hey,

My Macbook Pro 2.33 Ghz, gets

idle,

CPU temp - 59
Main Heatsink A - 49
GPU - 48
Main Heatsink B - 41

Load (playing games on windows with bootcamp)

Well I've looked at GPU and CPU

GPU - 70
CPU can be as high as 80 eek, have not had any problems though and warranty is good.
 
I paid for a little app called CoolBook which brings the temp down to around 50c during normal use. It's nice to be able to use it on my lap.

BTW, i have a CoreDuo macbook.
 
My Macbook book idle temps are usually about 44-47c. And Full load is usually about 70-7c. Although i have adjusted my fans so they run a bit faster than normal.

you can download a ppiece of software called coreduo temp :)

The fan controller programs, which do you use?

I tried two and they changed the fan speed for around 5seconds then the fans went back to normal, never stayed as high as I wanted!

Temps on 2.33ghz C2D are about:

It shows Time, current time OSX has been running, CPU usage, CPU speed and temperature, Some temps are hot after 10minutes as I had probably come from windows playing a game of some sort :)
 
My Core 2 duo can get as hot as 84-87 when encoding video, which its left doing for hours at a time :p

I'm expecting to come back to a melted piece of plastic soon, needless to say I'll be extending the warrenty before the first year is up.
 
Same temps here too

C2D 2ghz macbook

idle 55-60

medium load will go up to 70 (never attempted to top it, but will hit 80 I belive)
