Macbook wireless connection

Hi Folks,

My Macbook is really starting to annoy me now with its stupid wireless network. I mostly use it in my study and for some reason the wireless connection to my router keeps dropping for no reason, it's really temperamental! I have had no problems with the wireless connection when I have a PC in the study and my iPhone has no problem picking up the wireless either. It just seems that the Macbook is really flakey in this area. I either get a problem where my default wireless network can be picked from a list of available networks but I then just get a connection failed error and it picks up the network straight away when I start the macbook but the icon on the task bar just stays greed out and I can't connect. A restart of the macbook usually sorts it out.

Is there anything I can do to improve the connection? The router is pretty much directly below me downstairs but I shouldn't need to move it as everything else works fine with it being there. Is there any settings I can change in the macbook to get a better connection?

Thanks

Matt
