Hi,

I have a 2008 Macbook and I am having problems with my Wifi. It seems that my connection just stops working for about 10 seconds then comes back. OSX think it is still connected as the Wifi symbol does not change.

It has been working fine for 3 years so I don't know what wrongs. I checked the Wifi using my mobile phone and it works fine so it is pointing towards a problem with the Macbook.

Any assistance would be great. It is driving my nuts.

Is this with your BeBox?

Because I have the same issue, BeBox is a Thompson something or other.
Considering changing over to my old Netgear which has always been rock solid.

The wifi on my old CoreDuo Macbook kept dropping out like this as well.

I just changed the Airport card and it worked fine after that.

You can get them for less than a tenner on auction sites.

Unless its still under Applecare - if so get Apple to have a look at it.
