I did a fresh install of Snow Leopard, but to cut a longer story short. I decided just to restore a TM backup as I didnt have the time to mess around with everything to get things as they were, specifically all my old emails.. I restored email in Time Machine and through migration assistant but it still doesnt show all my old mail.

But after I've fully restored, I restart as it asks. I see the apple logo, or that white screen just where it appears. Then a black border comes down, and in 4/5 different languages it tells me, its needs to be restarted by pressing and holding the power button.

I do that, but it just tells me again its needs to be restarted.

Googling I found this article, but just wanted some more advice beforehand really.

I'm probably doing it wrong, but if somone knows how I can just get all myold emails back on a fresh install, thats probably all I need. That or if I can just get the restore to boot.

Ignore, its working now. I think maybe I messed up along the way with erasing partitions or installing it incorrectly. Restore worked this time... But advice regarding the restoring emails and settings on a fresh install would be appreciated.

Thank you

Hmm, you seem to be correct. Lol. I thought I had created additional folders on the email app. But it appears theyre sub folders on one of the email accounts.

Thanks.
