I had my Mach II delivered last night I have installed it and it seems to working fine but I am having trouble getting my PC to post regularly.

I have just got online at about the 20th attempt, once it is running it is fine but if I change an option in the BIOS it won't POST.

I don't think it's a problem with the Mach as there are no error lights showing, could it be the cold bug?

It could also be the chip as it had the IHS removed by the previous owner and there is a pin missing, having said that it worked 24/7 at 2.35Ghz under water.

Stepping : CDBHE 05335 PDW (from auction site ad)

Evap head temp : -56 C

It ran 24/7 on water, and on air for the last week, don't know exactly know which pin it is it is on the edge in the middle, on the left hand side I think.

Set your boot temp higher in your Mach II control centre options.

If that doesn't work I'd be inclinded to think that the missing pin was the problem as that mem controller (BH) is quite good with the cold.

Boot up temp was set to - 40, I changed it to 0 and then -10 and it is working fine ;) , will experiment more tomorrow, also noticed that the hose covering has come loose where it joins the head, I'll have to put some sealant string on it.

Tried overclocking slightly at dinner time 2.2Ghz with 1.58 volts and it wouldn't POST, I think I'm going to get another processor.
