I posted this on the graphics forum, but I think I have bigger problems.
I installed a new graphics card over Christmas, a 970. I've been happy with it, not tried it with many games, mainly Witcher 3, Battlefront and GTA V, which I've had no problems with.
However I've been getting crashes during Ark, game just freezes, though any music I have playing continues in the background, I can't alt tab, or CTRL-ALT-DEL, I have to restart my machine.
This all pretty much started yesterday, I've now had failed startups, I was on the logon screen, could move the mouse but not click on the password box. I've also had a similar problem on the desktop, could move my mouse, music was still playing but I couldn't click on anything. This also happened which I tried to load up the Nvidia control panel, got the little roatating circle like it was trying to do something but nothing happened.
Funny enough, I still havn't had any trouble playing games, other then Ark.
Here are my specs.
I'm currently running Windows 10, though my i7 is overclocked, I've not touched the speeds on the GFX card.
