Having a problem with my second machine where it keeps turning off about once every day or so, and won't turn back on until I plug it and leave it.
I can unplug it for a few secs, plug it back in and turn it back on, but it will soon turn off again.

Sounds like the temps right? Checked the temps, all is good.

What could it be? The mobo? The PSU?

Spec -

AthlonXP 2600+ Barton
1GB DDR400
Radeon X1600 Pro AGP
Abit NF7-S V2.0 mobo
Seasonic S12 600W PSU

Thanks

A friend of mine had the very same problem not so long ago. I tried changing the psu and all sorts of different things, but nothing worked. He then told me that he had fitted a network card (pci) and it seemed that his problems had started ever since then, so just for the sake of it I removed the network card (as he didn't need it anyway as the computer shop he took his machine too just happened to miss the fact he had a LAN port on his mobo). Anyway to cut a long story short, once the network card was removed no more problems at all. Still haven't been able to work out to this day why that card was causing power problems.

If it is the Audigy causing the problem, you could try fitting it in a different PCI slot, just incase it is an IRQ conflict. But like you said it would be advisable to take it out all together to see if the problem goes away.
