Machine Polishing?

Hi,

Basically my car has some swirls from being machine washed which I think would be nice to get rid off. A couple of companies in the area do this service but I'm wondering if there's a negative side to it (like thining the paint work, etc.)

If someone has recommendations in the Glocuester area as well that would be good otherwise I'm going to take the car to a couple of places and get quotes.

If your paint thins, you will go faster..

Don't be afraid to give it a go yourself, it's actually quite easy if you take your time. I did it a while back to an auld Calibra I had with red paint that had faded to a sort of dull "pink" colour, details in THIS thread.

To be honest the only thing thats going to make the car quicker is mavity (i.e. driving down a bloody big hill).
