i came across this piece of software for my mac last night and was wondering if it is really worth the money?

Do Macs need de-fraging etc? I've already got prey installed too but mackeeper has a similar programme bundled in.

If anyone has any more info on this it would be appreciated

i've downloaded onyx after reading a few reviews.

Feek, why do you believe it doesn't require anything?

i've no idea. i've only owned my mac for the last 3 months so am new to OSx.

i've still got windows in my mind and the countless times that needs defraging etc.

i've run onyx and have seen the maintenance scripts which OSx runs and it also told me to sort out the startup disc which i've done (press cmd + R on startup, disc utility etc).

i've also disabled all the widgets to speed things up. thats made a big difference too
