Macrium redepoly, work as advertised?

Thinking of upgrading from an ivy bridge to haswell so will mean a mobo change as well s CPU.

Redeploy is theory says I could do this.

Anyone had any success in similar scenario?

Running Win8.1 at the moment.

You'll probably find you have absolutely no issues whatsoever in just replacing the motherboard/CPU. I certain didn't have any issues when upgrading from Sandy to Ivy.

The chipsets are so similar, and Windows 8.1 is so good with drivers, that it'll probably just work.

Take a backup before, just in case (as you would whenever making any changes), and you'll still then have the option to do something else.

If you're getting a new motherboard, get one that is 100% compatible with an m.2 slot for one of those super fast Samsung 951 SSDs.

Then do a fresh install, speeeeeeeed
