macrium reflect cloned drive wont boot

Ive used this software before with no issues. im trying to clone a windows 7 32 bit install from a 250gb ssd to a 480gb SSD.. the process goes through as expected, i unplug the old drive , (or select different boot order) but all i get is a flashing underscore

its got a useful fix boot tool in its PE

I will look,,, i dont even know if this PC boots from USB its so old

yeah thats basically what the macrium usb tool does
just it does it with a click for you

only problem now is i adjusted the partition to make use of the whole drive, and i think the software (autocad 2009) has realised its not the same drive and removed the license. going to try once more and match the partition size

i would think its probably not
the partition size
my guess its reading a hardware identifier of the new drive
there is an autocad licence transfer utility in a lot of their softwares

might be right, i will try and see no harm. I can still activate the autocad license, there is a bolt on package to autocad that i cant do so easily though
