Macrium reflect?

Yes it's good. It used to have a free edition that was sufficient for almost all users, and still is if you can find the older installers.

I tried the hasbero and other similar freebie ones.... not anywhere on the same level of Macrium sadly, its when you want to say take an backed up image and dump it onto a new ssd/nvme or even on a different PC. Reflect can handle the hard drive partitioning, resizing or new nvmes/ssds you have thrown in or changed like its butter.

Id pay for it tbh but will keep using the free version till it stops working, and I hope it continues to keep working!

If they do adjust something, maybe one could disconnect internet, adjust bios clock to 10 years ago and use the reflect usb bootdrive as a work around.

If you just want to create a backup image of your drive(s) then Windows Backup can do exactly that, The "Create System Image" option creates a folder structure with a .vhd image inside. You can then restore this to any other drive for a re-cloned image, or double click it and browse it like any drive at any time.

WHY U NO TRUST US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Used Macrium for yonks, works fine,, but only used it when not cloning to a Samsung SSD as Samsung Magician does it out of the box when cloning to a Samsung drive which I prefer as it's fewer clicks etc. Also means not having to install Reflect, another tool :p

I used the free version for my brother's new PC a couple of weeks back, was pretty good. Wasn't quite as simple as the Samsung software to come 2 disks but i figured it out after a couple of minutes.

Use to work for them, software is pretty stable... still know a couple of Devs that work there... I thought that they had stopped the free version, good to know that they didnt...
