Macromedia Flash Mx Pro 2004 urgent help

Hi there, Im currently working on a flash project which I have seperated with scenes and to get to each scenes I have got buttons.

On some of the pages there is audio and basically I want the audio to stop once the user clicks to go to another scene.

I have got a stop function in place on each page in an action layer in the first frame but this doesnt stop the sound from the previous scene playing.

Add this to the start of each scene:

stopAllSounds ();

Should work.

That works perfect on the scenes that dont have any audio, but when I go from audio to audio the command actually stops the audio on the new scene playing.

How about if I were to but the command in the first frame, and then have the audio start from frame 2?

on (release) {
stopAllSounds();
gotoAndPlay(1);
}

That seemed to work fine for me, thanks for help dude!
