Macromedia Shockwave & Active X

Since updating Windows XP today I am now getting pop up windows on a Backgammon site that I use regularily. I am asked to "click here to use this page" & "click here to enable Active X controls" & "press enter or space bar to use this page"

I think it is something to do with Macromedia Shockwave and Active X. I have tried updating and testing MS with limited success. Everything still works but these popup windows are a pest.

How do I make sure that I am right up to date with MS & Active X and get rid of these pop ups?

have you got shockwave installed properly? get it directly from the makers....

This is due to a patch to internet explorer to get around the eolas patent. Nothing you can do until the authors update their pages with a simple fix. Just means a different way of embedding the active x content into the page.

Edit: Or just use Firefox or a non IE browser
