Madden 11 freezing

Death Star or Mount Doom, it depends on the day.
I have recently bought a copy of Madden 11 from a mainstream gaming shop. And despite the fact that I have bought 2 copies now! They seem to have the same problem e.g. freezing on the loading screen. The first copy I took back the manager in the shop said it may just be a fault with the disk. The second copy Ive bought is oing the exact same thing. I p*****d off with it. And console gamers say they don't play on PC's because of faults. If Madden would have still been getting realised for the PC I wouldnt have had this problem!!!

I have installed it to my hard drive. No joy. Same problem.

All my other games work.

Any ideas???
 
I've never had Madden 11 freeze on me, only thing I can think of is if your 360 is vertical

have you updated it?

Its laid flat man. Its an elite. Its connected to xbox live everytime I turn it on. Is there anyway of checking that its the latest version? I am a console noob.

If you are connected to xbox live it would prompt you as soon as the game loaded if there was an update available, I have had madden since launch and never had a problem with it freezing so I doubt an update would help anyway.

Sounds like it is a problem with your 360

My saints row got scratched when I had it vertical :o

not saying it was the hard drive
