Madden 15 anyone?

Just been looking around and saw no Madden thread, I've been an NFL fan for years but just started to get back into the games, 25 on EA Access is fun, but wanting to play MUT starting a year later just isn't fun and the playerbase has moved on (Still get destroyed, though!)

Does anyone here play at all? OPinions on 15 vs 25? I've seen the code on cdkeys for £33 so the pricing isn't bad at all, so I could jump in tonight & get hammering (or hammered on) MUT!

Anyone else around on it? :)

Have 25 but not 15, I usually skip a year with Madden unless there is something which really interests me. There is nothing in 15 which makes me want to part with my money.
 
I have had both 25 and now 15. I would say 15 is greatly improved, especially on the defense. The playbook layout has had a fancy overhaul which is great for no huddle since you can actually pick a play from the book rather than doing audibles. I certainly thought it was worth a purchase and the new skills games are pretty fun to play to, there is a gauntlet style one where you have to do different skills until you run out of lives.
 
I don't like MUT at all, after a while you just get matched with players whose teams are stacked with legends 99 overall (seriously) players who are just a pig to play against, and you would need to spend a small fortune to get those players. However connected franchise and regular online are a lot of fun.
 
I only have 25 from EA access, combined Franchise & online actually sounds awesome, infact, I'm sold on that, I'll grab it tonight! :)
 
I've been playing Madden 25 on EA Access, and I used up my full 6 hours in Madden 15.

I loved Madden 15, it felt like it helped me out a bit as someone who knows the basic rules of American Football, but not the tactics or strategies. I thought 15 looked much nicer than 25 too, and playing defense in 15 was a lot more fun.

I would love Madden 15 full game but I just cannot justify the cost having just bought NHL 15, and with FIFA 15 just about to release. I'll eagerly await its release in the EA Vault though.

I was gutted when my 6 hours ran out.
 
I love 25, I often just play quick matchup games, team like the Packers and Seahawks will storm back at you!
 
all the people that would be playing nfl 25 are now on madden 15 so get the newer game
 
Got it last night, 30 mins download and all good to go, only got a chance to play the tutorials again and get my first packs in MUT, nothing much of note!

Hoping to get on tonight after the CL games, so if anyone is on xbox one and fancies a game, just yell! :)
 
How do you get good at this game? All my passes end up getting intercepted lol. Defense is hard imo!

don't throw silly pick passes, read the defence (is it zone or man coverage), audible your play if necessary to counter the defence. Don't be afraid to throw short safe passes on slants etc, yards is yards. Longer passes are always more vulnerable to picks unless you've overloaded the defence. There's a reason you'll rarely see pro NFL teams going for hail Mary's.

Re playing defence, let the ai cover the receivers. I tend to control linebacker or rusher during defence and go for sacks.
 
You need to learn a bit about the game, how to read the defence, it comes with practise! Anyone want a game H2H message me on PSN!

Did you end up getting it for £33 ? I picked it up on PSN Saturday due to the fact it was £25 thanks to the Super Bowl. Did XBL not do a similar deal ?

Yeah, I got it way back when, great game but I just get obliterated online every game, really takes the fun out of it!

Not sure if your on my friends list already or not but I'd happily have a few games. Just throw the ball against me, I can never stop the pass :D
