Madden - dodgy game or dodgy Xbox?

Recently I bought Madden 08 on the Xbox 360 and ever since I've been playing it (great game, especially in multiplayer co-op).

However, I'm starting to get annoyed by the number of times it crashes. It crashes every 2-3 games and it usually pops up with a disc error message.

Has anyone with Madden 08 had similar problems or is yet another Xbox 360 on the way out?

I bought it this weekend just gone and have done about 4 games in franchise mode and as yet no crashes, touch wood.

Nope, no crashes on Madden, though I do get the occassional issue when loading the menus etc, not as speedy as it could be, but I think this is due to my 360 being a launch console.

Just want to say that anyone thinking of buying Madden '08 should get it, its brilliant! A much better overall experience than Madden '07.
