Made a boo boo

Was tansfering some monies from my savings to my current account and accidentally transferred it to a junior isa derp.

Never used the isa and not sure what's it's doing there.

Contacted the bank they gave me an email for HMRC savings. Emailed them with the details of what happened.
Not hopeful of getting it back..

Anyone else done the same?

If that Junior ISA is yours surely you are entitled to it back. I'm sure someone will be understanding and mention it was a mistake. Who knows until you wait.

You're going to have to be nice to your kids till they're 18 then hope they give it back, or tell them they can have the next few years presents when they are 18.

You can make a boo boo better by kissing it. Therefore you should kiss the manager at the branch of the bank where your account is located.

EDIT: I haven't done the same, but I did once transfer money to the wrong account. Someone else's account. No harm done in that case - I emailed them and they transferred the same amount back.

Prob no chance getting it back. Money into Junior ISAs is one way till they’re 18
