I make the best Caipirinha. Fact.

They are one of my favorite drinks.
Probably the best Cachaça i have ever tried http://www.iguanas.co.uk/shop

I am guessing this is in the wrong thread?

I take that as competition and I challenge you!

I personally use Pitu Cachaça never bought a difference brand.

And it is off topic to the original post but still on the line of alcohol and making drinks. I just don't think many people know of this drink figured I would see who else knew about it and have tried it.

I love caipirinha though I kind of such at making it. I'd be happy to drink ones made by both of the above to help you resolve your challenge though :p

:D

I highly recommend they Cachaca i linked, it is made just outside of Rio at Las Iguanas own distillery & then shipped over.

Las Iguanas said:
The spirit of Brazil! Award-winning premium golden cachaca from our sugar cane plantation in Brazil, aged in oak for 2 years. Perfect for sipping or over ice as an aperitif - 1 litre, 39% ABV.

The more expensive bottle is only £22.50 for the 1 liter bottle! Seen as you live in London you will no doubt have a Las Iguanas near you, you can buy the Cachaca and other products in the restaurant.

They are very easy;
1 whole lime cut in to 8 in a tumbler with 2 heaped bar spoons spoons of a fine white sugar, muddle the two together
add crushed ice & then pour Cachaca over to pretty much fill the glass, next mix the contents of the glass (put your hand over the top of it to minimise spillage)
Once mixed, top off with more crushed ice and voila!

Never heard of Las Iguanas I usually buy my Cachaca in Portugal when I go and bring back as much as I can. Pitu is decent stuff but I would defiantly like to try Magnifica.

Side note the only thing it seems I do different to you is I usually use brown sugar if I can.
