Made a right mess..

A while ago I bought this system from OC:

Ultima OC HD 4870 Crossfire" Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.40GHz @ QX6950+ 3.00GHz+ Quad Core DDR2 System

Now, I recently updated to the new ASUS bios and wiped the lot, even the 2nd saved bios settings. Don't ask.

Does anyone here have the same spec machine / could send me a list / backup of the original bios that shipped from OC with this unit???

I'd be much oblidged if anyone can help.

i'd send a webnote to ocuk, they should be able to send them to you

Yeah, but if it deleted the profiles then why don't you simply create them again?

Welcome to OcUK forums!

Don't sweat it, you haven't broken anything but your best bet will be either contacting the OcUK shop for help or failing that you may have to learn the dark art of overclocking!

Overclocking is not a simple task when your new, if you think back to when you first started you may recall how much of a mystery most of the technical stuff was! :cool:

Thank for the replies guys. Webnote sent to OCUK Shop and I've started going through some Q6600 threads. Sheesh! a lot to pick up on

At least I know my the system I have can go from 2.4Ghz to 3.2Ghz and be very very stable!

Eww,

OC say they do not have this bios nor settings for this machine anymore!

I know it went to 3.2Ghz, but its more the ram timings etc that worry me. I wouldn't know where to start.

I'm trying to read up as fast as I can, sorry for being a complete noob.

These new I7's with the 20 pages of settings [ ok, ok I exaggerate...] are doing my old head in! :confused:
