Has anyone else ordered blinds online? My windows are quite unusual sizes and none of the stuff at the DIY stores will fit so I need made to measure.

Any recommendations? :)

Cheers!

Ordered from a place called blinds2go last week, went for some thermal retaining roller thing. Came on time, fits well. Not sure if they're expensive or not as never really purchased blinds before but it was around £60 inc delivery for 1500mmx1250mm.

I used these guys recently and i got blinds delivered in a different colour to what I had ordered (wrong blinds were more expensive). they take ages to reply to e-mails and anyway got through on phone and had to e-mail them picture of wrong blinds. Then had to call again to confirm receipt of e-mail and they agreed wrong colour had been sent and they re-ordered the correct ones.
Of course being custom made - I get to keep the wrong colour blinds also :D
Result.
Qualitywise i wouldn't say they are the best but depends what you want to pay for blinds.
A well-known national company had come around and measured and quoted for me and wanted >£350 for 2 blinds in main bedroom window whereas from above it's cost me under £200.
