I absolutely loved Mafia, it was so fun to play and had one of the best storylines of any game and presented it well. This site took a screenshot of the ratings board or something. http://games.tiscali.cz/news/news.asp?id=23605

WICKED...

I loved the little touches like when you were going over the speed limit and you got stoped by the cops you had to stop and pay the fine but if you had a gun the police would start shooting

Great Game. Compaired to saints row and GTA i consider it up there with them.

lets hope it lives up to the first.

Thats really great. The first seems so much better than other similar games (GTA etc.). I'm looking forward to this one.

I never got round to completeing the first one but this news has inspired me to install it again, along with Max Payne 2 for some reason :confused:

Mafia is the best SP game I have ever played, its up there with gta VC and FF7 imo.

I loved the story in Mafia - the voice acting was absolutely spot on, especially from the three main characters.

If you look on IMDB, a few of them are in "Sopranos" (Voice of Paulie, and the voice of Sam). Also, it appears that the voice of Tommy is done by Mike Sorvino, bother of Mira Sorvino.

Loved the ending, especially the final twisting moments.

Some quality missions too - the bank raid was one of my favourites, along with the Sniper and the gun fight in the church.

Fantastic game...if this sequel is only 80% as good, it'll still be fantastic. But it has a lot to live up to. And PLEASE don't make it modern era! 1950's ***.

Hell yes! One of the best PC games ever. I echo the statement about it not being modern day. Cant wait for more info on this one.

Great news, i did read the other day the Illusion Softworks had resurfaced again. Apparently they were doing an ofp style game a couple of year ago, and went under. Good to see them and Mafia back, hopefully we'll see the trailer the USK have seen and rated.
