Mafia II Help ?

Morning all,

I grabbed MafiaII from the steam sale yesterday, installed it and played through the first three missions, and I have to say I'm loving it.

Well, that was unit I found myself falling through the floor at the smae point in the map over and over. Re-loading the chapter / Starting a new game and rebooting do not work. Do you think a fresh install could be the answer?

I've had a look else where and I can't seem to find a "fix / patch" does anybody know if there is one?

Right click Mafia 2 in games library, go to properties, then 'verify integrity of Game Cache', sometimes fixes corrupt/missing files.

I am tempted to get. I was quite disappointed when this didn't come with my graphics card

. But I would easily stretch to a tenner !

Dissappointing save system, and lack of free roam kinda put me off this game. Think I might go replay the first Mafia game, it was epic

definatly worth a tenner.. finally a game with a worth while story.. There also releasing a Mafia 3 which i cannot wait to get... long time to wait tho

Yep well said.. It's heartbreaking really, Mafia 2 is very good but it feels like an unfinished game. 1st game is legendary.

Loved Mafia 2. If they use the recent facial expression technology used in other games then that would be great.

The original Mafia was simply amazing , but the second wasn't a patch on the
first .. sad but true
