I think it's fantastic (apart from the really old "classic" channel). Everly brothers etc, sometimes I'd stall playing just to sit in the car & listen to the classics. They should sell a Mafia II audio CD. For me the best "proper" songs in a game bar none.

However my kids think the music (along with me for liking it) is "sad". I'm wondering if it's wasted on the teens upwards who play this game. Do you think it's "sad" also & maybe not even heard of any of em. Or maybe you're liking the retro music like you never thought you would. Why did I even start this thread.

Well it's a boring sunday & I had time to fill. :)
 
the only track i liked off mafia 2 is Louis Prima - Che La Luna :)

and you can downlaod the full mafia tracklist @ 320kpbs quality from certain sites :)
 
Had to google that & still don't remember hearing it in-game. Then again I switch off classic? Anyway, whatever floats ya boat! :eek::D

Like buddy holly along with the everly's & some song sung by some female. All we need now is for mafia 3 to advance to the Beach boys era & then onto Pink Floyd. (personally I think if you don't remember fat agnus etc then this music will be right above your heads :) )

Cheers Mucky pup. Did hunt the songs down in the game folder but didn't bother to search for anything that would play fsb. Sure I've done this with a few games so that player is going to come in handy :) (& I'm going to tell the kids it's your fault they're being subjected to "sad" music ) :)

Dunno about Muscle cars Black hawk, Always had a thing for the Ford Zephyr 6. (Sheltered life). Ah remember when cars had chokes lol :). I was a nipper at the time btw. (REALLY!)

OMG the younger gen are into sad music now. You should keep up with the times like us older lot. diggin it with N-Dubz atm & gettin down with tinchy wotzisface & swingin da hips to the Saturdays. (that's cool right?) All groovy & feelin the vibes man.

Only joking :) I used to love the music way back when I was 18 too & it was also b4 my time. I was about your age then :) I'd argue that the tracks in part make this game.
