This is the thread for OCUK Forums Mafia Game 4: The Thirteen Doctors. This will be a role-heavy game for 13 players using relatively simple roles from the Mafiascum Wiki. Setup is closed, meaning you will not be told what roles are in the game.

RULES:

  • Once the game has begun, do not post in this thread unless you are a living active player.
  • You may not edit your posts for any reason, even to correct a spelling mistake.
  • This is a MAJORITY LYNCH game. Once a player has received a majority of votes (AKA "been hammered") there can be no further changes in voting; that player will be lynched and the Day ends immediately. If no player receives a majority of votes by the deadline, there will be no lynch that Day.
  • Please do not post after a player has been hammered, except to point out that the hammer has fallen if it wasn't obvious. Where possible, the last player to vote should say that their vote is the hammer.
  • To place a vote, use the format ##vote <player>.
  • To cancel a vote, use the format ##unvote. If you wish to change your vote, you must unvote first.
  • Do not use bold text anywhere in the thread except when voting or unvoting.
  • Players are expected to be reasonably active. At the end of each day, any player who has posted less than the moderator (Jedit) will be replaced. If no replacement can be found they will be modkilled.
  • Communication outside the thread is absolutely forbidden unless your role permits it.
  • You may not quote out-of-game personal messages from the moderator in the thread.
  • Game Days will last a maximum of 48 hours (72 hours for Day 1), with a possible 24 hour extension at the weekend if traffic is slow. Game Nights will last 24 hours with no extensions.

NOTES

  • All roles in this game are standard and fairly simple. There are no ******* roles or alignment-changing roles. If you have any questions about your role, PM the moderator (Jedit).
  • Roles and alignments were determined before flavour was assigned randomly. Nevertheless, it is advised that players do not reveal their flavour.


If you wish to sign up for this game, please post. The first 13 applicants will be put into the game; anyone else will be listed as a reserve in case we need replacements.

Once more, a great crisis had arisen that threatened the entire fabric of Time and Space. All thirteen incarnations of the Doctor - even the one that looked a bit like Christopher Eccleston - had gathered to make their plans to save the universe and justify the TV licence fee.

As they were about to commence, however, a figure burst into the room. It was none other than Rassilon, leader of the Time Lords, and he looked sorely vexed.

"Stop!" Rassilon cried. "There are some among you who are not truly the Doctor, they are evil Time Lords seeking to overthrow all of creation!"

"Like who?" someone asked.

"Well, for a start there's -"

Unfortunately, at that moment a Dalek fell through the ceiling and squashed Rassilon flat.

Jedit (Rassilon, Town-Aligned Moderator) has been exterminated ... sort of!

It is now Day 1. Day 1 will end at 10pm UK time on Friday 7th March.

There are 13 players remaining, so it requires SEVEN votes to lynch.

Can all players please confirm in the thread that they have received their role PMs.

Can all Scum players please additionally post in the Scumdoc to indicate that they can read and edit.

If you have an issue with either of these things, please message me.

I'll try to update the tracker a couple of times a day, but I won't always post about it so keep checking the link. Votes are helpfully placed in chronological order so you can see who voted for who when.

Permission is granted for Leprechaun to edit out his broken link and leave the post blank. This is an exception made because there was no other content.

Note that there is a section highlighted in blue that gives the post number of the last vote counted. Use that if you need to make a manual countback.

Psymonkee, please try to post a little more if you can - you're marginal for staying in the game.

Brabbinho, please do not post in bold text. It makes it harder to find votes.

The argument raged hot and fierce. Sensing the mood turning against him, one figure slipped into his TARDIS and made his exit.

Fortyseven (The Second Doctor), Town-Aligned Cop has decided to go regenerate somewhere else!

It is now Night. All players with Night Actions have 24 hours to submit them. Do not post in this thread until Day 2 begins.
 
Given that they were in the middle of an intergalactic temporal crisis, it came as some surprise when everyone turned out to still be alive in the morning.

It is now Day 2. Posting may resume.

There are 12 players remaining, so SEVEN votes are required to lynch. Deadline is 11pm Tuesday 10th March.

(Apologies for the delay in resuming the game; I haven't been well the last few days. Due to this delay, and also because it is the weekend, I have extended the deadline.)
 
You would not hear about it if someone is bulletproof or was saved.

Fortyseven is out of the game, as indicated by the fact that there are 12 players left and he was lynched. This goes for everyone else too. Everything else is just flavour.

I have long since lost count of the people who have done exactly that in Forums Mafia....

Several candidates were brought under suspicion as being the renegade Time Lords, and some people even thought there were no renegades at all. With time running low, someone pointed at one of the group. Were his cricket whites perhaps too white? That was enough to decide the group, and before Brabbinho could say a word he was summarily dealt with.

Brabbinho (The Valeyard) Scum-Aligned Vanilla has been lynched on Day 2!

It is now Night. You have 24 hours to submit Night Actions.

Everyone hoped that with the death of the Valeyard the crisis was over, but it was not to be. In the morning they were one less.

iviv (The War Doctor) Self-Aligned Survivor has been killed on Night 2!

It is now Day 3. With 10 players remaining it requires SIX votes to lynch. Deadline is 11pm on Friday.
 
Like the thundering juggernaut of the Gay Agenda in an episode written by Russell T Davies, opinion turned against the man in the garish jacket. Some would say fortunately for him, he had the presence of mind to sidle away before meeting the same fate as the Valeyard.

K1LLSW1TCH (The War Chief), Scum-Aligned Role Blocker has been lynched on Day 3!

It is now Night. As I will not be available tomorrow evening, Night Actions will not be processed until Sunday morning so you have a little longer to submit them.

It is now Day 4. Deadline is 11pm Monday 17th.

With eight players alive it requires FIVE votes to lynch.
