Just for the record, as doctor:
I protected Egon on the first night and thee was no night kill (from this point on I worked on the assumption I had saved him and he was therefore town but never completely ruled out the possibility of other roles having affected things)

I protected iviv on the second night (despite suspecting I'd be the target - I wasn't allowed to protect myself). Iviv was targeted and died anyway, from that I had to assume outside interference

I protected shami on the third night despite being very sure I would be the target. I got killed.

Shami - what was your thinking behind tracking shorttricky on the last night? I couldn't see a need for it, what were you expecting to learn?
 
Good work everyone! Second success in a row for me and Shami ;) Will we get access to the scum and ghost docs? Would be interesting to see, plus why there was no NK night 1.

Certainly is a good game to cause arguments with :D

There was two sides really, I thought shorttricky might be lying about his role and if he was being truthful about it I wanted to know who was killed my mafia and who was killed by him. I didn't think the mafia would go for him.

Given that he was talking in a way where he looked certain to use his role that night then you would have known he was likely to be lying if only one person died that night and I'm not sure there would have been any benefit to knowing who was killed by who (plus if you were expecting shortticky to survive the night you would have been expecting him to be able to tell you who he killed)

Overall I think you'd have been better served targetting someone else although ultimately it didn't matter as you wouldn't have been able to track leprechaun anyway.

Of course if Psy had been on the ball he should have been able to predict my NK and watched me, reported that no-one visited me and alerted you all to the probability that the last scum was able to evade detection.

I have read that mafia can be quite a brutal game. People generally aren't very nice to each other, I suppose the thing to remember is it's just a game and not to form personal opinions on others over it. People are obviously playing to win and some people's personalities are better suited the game than others.
 
Indeed leprechaun. Self preservation prob cost us the game.

Nevermind :-)

It does get heated, I just try to remember it's not a personal attack when you are accused.

It's highly unusual for me to get wound up which only made the mafia process more frustrating. Perhaps it's because part of job invovles reading people in person and over the phone and I was find reading people by text very difficult. That said, I twice made instinctual judgments in this game which were right - although I only followed one. In person I'd have no doubt followed-through (:D) but in writing... I faltered.

Anyway - I think it would be best to stay a lurker in these games until at least the wedding is done! :D
