I was under the impression it had been on there for yonks? The full game came out months ago.

Hope this will include their implementation of Move support - really interested in how this will work out and effect the balance of the game.

You know, people were saying the Wii would be way better and more precise than gamepads, and that clearly turned out to be completely false. Would Move really be able to boost such precision, that developers and gamers alike are concerned about balance? I was of the belief that Move still has some inherent input lag...

I wasn't aware that this was the case at all. Personally I found the RE4 wiimake to be far easier than the original release because of the aiming advantage of the wiimote.

I've not played any Wii games which allow you to play gamepads vs wiimotes competitively to compare, so I'm interested in how it works out now in MAG.

Not true if we're talking about shooters. RE4 and Metroid being two games that come screaming to mind that were far better with the Wii remotes in comparison to their control pad counterparts. There's loads of articles and reviews out there absolutely gushing about how wonderful the controls in the metroid trilogy were.

Other than Mario they're just about the only things that 'worked' on the Wii for me.

The wii controller is a large improvement over traditional controllers for fps and if move is any good it should offer the some improvements.

That said mag is going to be very unbalance because of this, the move vs a good traditional would still be unfair, the move vs the dual shock 3, it will be like clubbing baby seals

Sorry but I have to totally disagree with the last three posters. There is absolutely no way the Wiimote was more precise than a controller on those games. Metroid Prime and RE4 especially. Movement on Prime is especially a lot worse for it, particularly as you had to aim towards the sides of the screen to turn. That game was only praised because it was still enjoyable to play with the controls (I think so too), but that doesn't mean it's better than a pad!

I would not touch Wiimote controls for FPS, especially in competitive matches. As I have mentioned before, it's got input lag combined with sluggish movement due to the inherent issue of having to aim to the sides to get the camera to move.

Disagree in the case of RE4, it had none of the problems with moving the screen and aiming due to the type of game it is. Personally I found it far easier to quickly target specific spots than with a normal gamepad. Can't comment on Metroid though I've not played it.

It would seem that Move support is in the beta, some videos are being posted up to youtube from people who already have their Move. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u28HKcz3sLg If you skip ahead to about 6:30 there is actual gameplay shown, with a calibration sequence beforehand.
