Magic: The Gathering in Reading

It was fun, good people, good beer and was worth every penny at the time. it was either that or a £469.99p graphics card... hmmmm

dont go to reading for a game of mtg come up to dundee play with the real pro's in highlander games ;)

magic is by far the best ccg around, the two that came closest were VS system and burning sands imo. The wow tcg is a joke lol too many expansions already and they are just about loot.

as for the amount of changes wizards make i think its fine personally, keeps the meta game new and fresh the pro's are always finding new decks etc, as for buying cards you can do that but your best off drafting (helps if your good of course) you gain acess to a lot of the cards especially the niggly uncommons and commons you always need

Just follow the smell of pasty virgins and other associated spods.

Tragic: The Wettening.

Same could be said about someone who has near 20k posts on a computer hardware forum

Wasn't having a dig at you, just saying, verging on the pot calling the kettle black

Ahh, memories. I remember paying my mate £4 for a Sengir Vampire (or something) back in year 7. Honestly, the **** I used to spend money on.

I used to have a full set of the power 9. Sold em to pay debts when I got made redundant during the telecoms crash.

:(

I'd hate to think how much many I used to spend on MTG back in the day, still got my cards but I've not played in 9 or 10 years probably.

You realise you are posting this on a computer enthusiasts site? Not exactly the height of cool is it?

This is a computing site?!

I sense that I have incurred the wrath of the great unwashed...

...I better not wake up with a toy soldier's head in my bed...
