Not P.I...Some of you may know the photography agency Magnum is 60 years old this year. I'd heard of them but didn't know who they were until a week ago. I've just been looking through some of their photos, there were some amazing shots I can't find online in Amateur Photographer magazine, but here are some of my favourites, not only do I think they have amazing composition, but they all tell a story and there's so much to think about...

AbbasG.B. NORTHERN IRELAND. Belfast. A wall crumbles down after having been set on fire, presumably by the IRA.

Loads of stark, depressing, but amazing war images amongst them.

These guys are awesome, they just know when to let the shutter go down, the right place, right time - never a second too late!

Defo inspirational. Awesome :)

There's nothing quite like the story these photos tell. They really are iconic, and show us that we all have something to aspire to.

I've always rather liked the Sao Paulo shot by Rene Burri myself. :)

Who are the men on the roof? I read an article in a photography magazine about them a few months ago and it mentioned who they were. I've forgotten now, and can't find anything via google.

This is going to irritate me no end :(

Great pictures. One of my dream ambitions would be to get in to Magnum. The other is to have work featured in National Geographic. *crosses fingers*

Photo ops like these only happen if you carry a camera everywhere.

I guess I should lug mine about all the time really, even if it's just my compact.
