Has anyone else had problems with this?
My power adapter broke down on my last Macbook and my Dad fixed it. Unfortunately he basically had to break the casing open as I don't think it is designed to be opened. He glued it back together with hot glue. Then the adapter overheated and all the glue melted all over my mates couch. It looked like something else.
Anyway I got a new adapter but it still gets extremely hot. Then I got a new Macbook Pro in December and this adapter is the same. Sometimes it is actually too hot to touch. How can this be normal? But 3 adapters all the same!
Anyone else had problems? I do use it constantly so don't know if that is a factor. Although that said it is roasting at the moment before it has even charged my battery. I certainly won't be leaving it unattended.
