Morning.
I really, really swearie hate the way MS have forced hotmail users into using Windows Mail Live. I hate the way it looks, it shrinks pictures to fit with no option of resize (which is awesome microsoft thanks. i love how i cant read any of my invoices!) and just generally is full of pretty colours and borders and layers that i dont need.
I downloaded Thunderbird (since im happy with Firefox, so i trust Mozilla enough to give their mail client a go) but can't find any pop/smtp settings for hock-mail. A quick search says they dont exist. You apparently need a client that logs in for you, rather than just slips your mail out the pop3 door, but Outlook is too compromised for my unpatched, slightly wonky version of XP (cough) and Incredimail is an irritating pile of poo!
Do i have any other options? I dont really want to change from webmail since its handy being able to get it from anywhere. Also, i've had that address since 1997 and i dont really want to sort through 10 years of contacts changing it now
Thanks!
