I'm using a new macbook with OS X leopard, and everything else seems fine, but the Mail program doesn't shut down properly. If I use apple-Q, it closes the window, but the application itself stays open and totally freezes so I then have to use force quit. It was provided by the uni, but I can't get tech support until the end of the month as there isn't actually a person in that job at the moment!
Does anyone know what the problem is and if there's an easy way to fix it? I don't want to mess about with too much, as I need the laptop to do work.
