Mail question

Is there something you can download for mail on OSX so you get a little preview as something comes in? Like Outlook 2003/2007 and the gmail notifier does and stuff?

try using Growl. You can get a plug-in (which I think is included with the Growl package in the extras folder) which pops up when you get a new email.

I kinda like using Mac Mail though.

Growl isn't a mail program itself. It is a notifier that has plug-ins for many apps.

If you like the Growl notifications, try Adium.

It uses this feature extensively (FYI: It's a multi-protocol chat / messenger client)

What a great little utility. Works swell with Thunderbird too : )
