Mail server help

Hi Guys,
I setup up hmailserver to handle pop access to 3 differetn clients.

I followed a "How to" guide to get it setup and running with thunderbird but i keep getting an error message saying

"Mail server 192.168.1.2 is not an IMAP4 mail server"

I dont understand this can someone please hellp me.
 
Have you set up Thunderbird to access an IMAP server? In the account settings (not sure where, don't have TB installed at the mo) make sure the server is set to POP rather than IMAP if hMailserver is running POP accounts :)
 
I have been using hmailserver at home for a while now, and its a treat.

Assuming that you actually want hmailserver to run as a imap server (which I do, so that I can view my email from any PC in the house), make sure that you have enabled the imap protocol in hmailserver, and as the previous poster said, make sure that your TB account is an IMAP account.
