mainbaord and ram. is this good ?

Hey guys

So basically I want to buy a new motherboard and ram are these good?

Gigabyte H87-HD3 Intel H87

I am going to game on 1080p and not going to overclock anything that is why I chose those.(budget 150 pounds can go up to 170 max)

Any advice please?

It'll be fine and should work ok. If you're going to spend £65 on ram then get some faster stuff, or save yourself some cash and get the cheaper Teamgroup ram. Comes with a lifetime warranty.

So if I get the 2133Mhz ones you listed, they should be fine with that board and a bit faster then the ones I chose? (I'm a bit of a newbie on ram :/)

Im pretty sure the h87 chipset doesn't support/benefit from RAM faster than 1600mhz. Though if you use the 2133 it'll be De clocked to 1600.

Id just get the cheapest 8gb 1600, saving a £5-£10.

Ah yes, I hadn't noticed that, sorry.
I would suggest a different board in that case.

Assuming you can stretch your budget to that.

EDIT: Otherwise, get that other board with whatever decent 1600Mhz RAM you can get.
