Mains cable missing from box

Hi. I bought 2 pre-built gaming PCs from Overclockers - the boys opened the boxes this morning (Christmas day) and the mains cable has been left out in both. They are in tears. The spec says the box should include a Kolink AT/ATX "Kettle Plug" 1.2 5A Fuse Meter Mains Cable. It doesn't. I have kettle plugs that show 250v 10a, but I don't want to risk damaging the PCs and invalidating my warranty. Any advice on whether I can safely use 250v 10a power cable?

So I should put a 5a fuse in the kettle plug then power up the PC?

Done that - put a 5a fuse in. Powered up fine. Won’t accept WiFi password now, though. Does it need to be wired first time?

I have got to it in settings and entered the password, so it is correct, but it’s as if there is no bandwidth. I get about 60mps.

Got onto BBC but it’s like a dial up modem speed.

As I ran through the initial setup, it couldn’t see the WiFi at all. I had to continue without WiFi, then go to settings. Troubleshooting got it connected, but it’s very slow. Just running a speed test.

My phone is currently getting 62 mbps in the same spot where one of the PCs is. The PC is still on the ping test.

Hi - thanks. These are pre-builds - there were no antenna in the boxes. I could try that. Would you recommend any particular brand? The motherboard is a MSI B450 Tomahawk Max (socket AM4) DDR4 ATX.

Yes, I was all for getting them out of the boxes and setting up on Christmas Eve, but my wife wanted them to open them Christmas Day! We are off out to buy antenna today.
