Ok, here goes.
I have all my music (around 300 Cds) stored in lossless format (WMA Lossless). This works brilliantly - I can listen to all of them in MCE without a problem.
Now at 150Gb+ this is, unsurprisingly, not really suitable for putting on my iPod.
What I'd usually do is either:
1. Run dbPowerAMP Music Converter and convert them all to mp3/aac/whatever at a lower bitrate and bung it in another folder.
2. Just run iTunes and add all the WMA files. iTunes converts them.
This is all well and good. But next time I add a CD, or multiple CDs, I don't bother converting them... Then next time I want to update my iPod, I can't remember what I've got and what I haven't. I don't know what needs converting.
Anyone have any ideas on how to make this easier? Or even automated?(!)
Thanks
